Animal Ark, books about animals in general (especially puppies, kittens, horses, snakes & dinosaurs), Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss, Fancy Nancy, Goosebumps, holiday books, Junie B. Jones, Knuffle Bunny, Magic Tree House, Olivia, & sports books.

Young Adult Books–
Andrew Clements, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Flipped, The Giver, Harry Potter, Newbery Honor Books, Percy Jackson, & vampire-themed books. [Young adults are my hardest customers to please. Any suggestions are much appreciated!]

Romance Books–
Kristin Higgins, Macomber’s EARLY Cedar Cove [Books 1 -5], Linda Lael Miller, JD Robb, Nora Robert’s Bridal Quartet & Born of Ice series, any romantic suspense, Sherryl Woods, time travel romance, western romances.

Suspense Books–
Lee Child, Harlan Coben, cozy mysteries, Greg Iles, Dean Koontz, Stieg Larsson, Robert Parker, James Patterson, Douglas Preston, Karen Slaughter, Margaret Truman, Kurt Vonnegut, Stuart Woods. [Suspense readers tend to like the new, taller paperbacks. Those are stellar trade-ins.]

Audio books (preferably on CD), books about ghosts, classics (i.e. The Iliad, Hamlet, 1984), Dorothea Benton Frank, Emily Giffin, Kristin Hannah, The Help,  Sci-Fi & Fantasy, LARGE PRINT BOOKS, memoirs, novels based in the south, trade paperbacks, Jodi Picoult, Twilight (especially Eclipse & Breaking Dawn), Christian fiction, &  Westerns.

No Thank Yous–
Books without covers, hardcovers without jackets, Mary Higgins Clark, Reader’s Digest Condensed Versions, Danielle Steel, textbooks, & out-of-date books—not old enough to be cool, not new enough to be relevant.
